Arizona versus Oregon State Preview
The Arizona Wildcats are looking to recover from a loss to the Oregon Ducks on Thursday tonight (Saturday, January 12) as they take on Oregon State.
The Wildcats have had a rough couple of games. Before their first loss of the season on Thursday against the Ducks they barely walk out of a game with Colorado with a win.
Arizona are currently ranked number four on the Associated Press poll and most other polls and sports analysts place them among the top teams in the NCAA. Many are now questioning if Arizona belongs among the top team in the NCAA after their loss and almost loss. Arizona will be looking to get a win against Oregon State in order to regain their footing a bit on the national college basketball scene.
A loss to Oregon State would be devastating for Arizona as most believe that this game is an easy victory for the Wild Cats. If they lose to Oregon State they could see their rankings in the polls plummet and fans opinion of the team worsen.
With that said, Oregon State are not push overs. Oregon Sate are 10-5 on the season and have held their own against the likes of Kansas, despite losing. Oregon State will also have some extra incentive in this game as they will be looking to avoid going 0-3 in the Pac 12 for the first time in five seasons. Oregon State will also be playing at home. They have had a rough go of it as of late when having home court advantage, but regardless it always helps a little to be playing in familiar territory.
The point spread is at 10.5 favoring Arizona. The money line to bet on Arizona is at -605. The money line to bet on Oregon State sit at +405. You can catch the game at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN U.
