Broncos Super Bowl odds decline after Joe Flacco trade

Late Wednesday morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Broncos and Ravens had agreed to a trade which would send quarterback Joe Flacco to Denver.

Since the new NFL season doesn’t officially begin until March 13, the teams aren’t able to release the full details of the deal.

The quarterback play in Denver last season wasn’t exactly stellar and the Broncos finished the year at 6-10, and following the season were listed at 60-1 at Westgate to win next year’s Super Bowl.

So what did adding a former Super Bowl MVP do to those odds?

How the elite have fallen. According to oddsmakers, the addition of Joe Flacco to the Broncos doesn’t change their outlook even a bit.

Of course, public perception plays a major role in how odds are set.
