Super Bowl Moneyline, Total & Betting Stats

We are three days away from the biggest football game of 2015, as the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots are set to collide in the Super Bowl.

From analyzing individual players and trash talking (a lot of which is coming form Richard Sherman) to “deflategate” and Marshawn Lych’s affinity for garnering NFL fines, the storylines consuming your newsfeeds will all culminate this Sunday.

These two teams avoided each other all season by the grace of scheduling, but time in and time out have proved they are the best teams in the NFL one way or another. The Seahawks have proven themselves to be a clutch team, while the Pats have simply stomped all over their competition leading up to Sunday

Bettors will be laying down money on the game even if there is no clear smart bet.The Pats are mere -2-point favorites as of this writing in the Super Bowl.

The Seahawks got here by outing the Green Bay Packers at home in a stunning fourth quarter rally that forced overtime. They were -8.5 favorites in that game and failed to send bettors to the window.

The Pats stomped all over the Indianapolis Colts in a 45-7 victory that saw them easily cover the point spread as -7-point favorites. Deflated balls or not, the Pats were going to win that game and are now in the Super Bowl.

New England is 14-4 straight up on the season/post season, while going 10-8 against the spread. Historically, the Pats have a hard time covering against Seattle. They are 2-6 against the spread and straight up over their last eight games against the Seahawks.

The Seahawks are also 14-4 straight up this season/post season. They are 10-7-1 against the spread. Seattle has won eight straight games and over those eight games they are 6-1-1 against the spread. They are also 6-2 straight up and against the spread in their last eight games against the Pats.

The total for the Super Bowl is set at 47.5 points. The Seahawks sent OVER bettors to the window in the NFC championship game. New England, on the other hand, favors the UNDER. They went UNDER in the AFC Championship game and have sent UNDER bettors to the window in their last eight games.

The Super Bowl is this Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
