Evan Engram Excited By New Giants Offense
New York Giants tight end Evan Engram has, despite a tumultuous four years, impressed in the Big Apple.
Now, he faces a potentially career-defining season after having his fifth-year rookie option picked up by the Giants.
However, Evan Engram isn’t thinking about a lucrative pay day just yet. The 2017 draftee must first concentrate on getting into football shape, as well as learning the Giants’ new, exciting offense.Â
After starting 15 games in his rookie year, Evan Engram has been in and out of the team. In the next two years, he missed a total of 13 games through injury.Â

Last season, Engram injured his foot after rehabbing from a knee injury. The 25-year-old is keen to put that frustration behind him and impress his new coach and trainers.
“I feel great. I’ve had a very blessed offseason. I’ve been working my butt off in rehab and getting back,” Engram said.Â
“Right now, I am just going out and doing everything I can for the team and what practice is with the trainers.”
He will be working with first year head coach Joe Judge. Judge’s inexperience will be offset by two former head coaches – OC Jason Garrrett and TE coach Freddie Kitchens.
“It’s a good offense in my eyes,” Engram said.Â
“All the details we have to know and things like that is going to help us when we get them all down. I’m really excited about the opportunity to work with coach Garrett and coach Kitchens and all the other coaches on the offensive side,†he said.Â
