The Boston Celtics are showing a lot of consistence for bettors when looking at this mid season’s NBA betting trends.

It is only December, but already Boston is showing that they will be the team in the East. The ones that run LeBron James and the Cavs close ahead of the NBA Playoffs.

The Celtics are 18-4 straight up and have covered the spread in the 17 of those contests. That is the best ATS record in the league.

Future odds are holding strong for a “part 4” between Cleveland and Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. However, it is not only Cleveland that will be challenged for that spot this season.

The Houston Rockets are a solid straight up and currently on top of the West in the early part of this season. Houston also boasts the second best ATS record in the West.

With LeBron more than likely departing from Cleveland for good to finish his career elsewhere after this season, James and the Cavs are going to put up a big fight to try to bring one more trophy home but this season is likely going to see their biggest challenge yet in meeting that goal.
