“Me and Dame [Lillard], we’ve been talking for the past couple years … off and on,” he said. “Me and CJ [McCollum] have been playing in my Black Ops runs for the past four years.

It’s a fresh new start for Carmelo Anthony to get his NBA career back on track. As a result of his absence, he faced criticism at his inability to adjust to his new situation. Some detractors voiced that his game has eroded to the point where he has become a liability beyond just his performance defensively.
In his first game back, he showed plenty of rust as he scored 10 points on 4-of-14 shooting with four rebounds along with five turnovers and held a -20 plus/minus. There are plenty of things for Anthony to work his way back on the court into grater game shape while becoming a more efficient offensive asset.
