5 teams who could go worst to Super Bowl 57

After watching the Cincinnati Bengals go from the bottom of the AFC North to the Super Bowl these five teams should also dream big.

5. New York Giants

The Giants deserve a spot on the list. Yes, it’s very, very hard if not impossible to see Daniel Jones taking New York to the Super Bowl now or ever, but what if owner John Mara moves off his stance for jones to remain the starting quarterback in 2022? With a pair of first-round picks, the Giants could make move for a veteran such as Russell Wilson and with the talent around him, there would be legitimate reason to see them as contenders in the NFC East.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville could not have been more of a mess in 2021. Urban Meyer lasted 13 games as a head coach, and somehow that felt about 13 games too long. The Jaguars also managed to completely mangle rookie quarterback and No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence, who threw for more interceptions than touchdowns. However, the Jags have Doug Pederson coming in with a quality staff. Pederson won a Super Bowl four years ago with the Philadelphia Eagles, and could make this a swift turnaround.

3. Denver Broncos

The Broncos have the misfortune of playing in the AFC West with Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert, but they could be in play for Aaron Rodgers. If Denver doesn’t land Rodgers, it has almost no shot of winning a title let alone competing for better than third place in the division. Yet with the two-time reigning MVP, the Broncos could dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs, who have won the West six consecutive times.

2. Baltimore Ravens

No team dealt with more injuries this year than the Ravens, who were crushed by them from the start of the season. Baltimore still managed to get off to a 7-2 start before completely falling apart against a tough docket down the stretch, finishing up 8-9. Still, the Ravens have former MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, a formidable front seven and a running game that can beat anybody. This is a very dangerous team capable of big things when healthy.

1. Seattle Seahawks

If the Seahawks move on from Russell Wilson, forget it. But if he stays in town and general manager John Schneider uses some of his cap space, Seattle could be fighting for the NFC West and then some in the weaker of the two conferences. Wilson is still one of the league’s best quarterbacks, and he has elite weapons to utilize in D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett on the outside.
