Bucs newcomer Tom Brady wants NFL players to have ‘faith’ in the NFLPA
The NFL and NFLPA are trying to see eye-to-eye on how things should go during the upcoming 2020 campaign due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although all signs point to the team being a full go in the coming months, there’s still a lot of uncertainty among the players about their safety. This week, six-time Super Bowl champion and new Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar quarterback, Tom Brady, tried to give his colleagues around the NFL some piece of mind about the upcoming season. Brady urged players to have faith in the NFLPA to get things right through his Twitter account.

There are more questions than answers, but we must have faith in our @NFLPA leaders, both players and staff, to get the game and the business of football in the right place. Let's stay unified & demand necessary answers from the @NFL as partners. We’re all in this together. #LFG

With all the concerns that NFL players have aired over the last few months and the fact that there’s been a spike in COVID cases across the country, there’s no telling whether the situation will improve by the time the season gets underway in September. Brady is trying to remain positive and optimistic that things will be up to snuff when games will get played, but with so much uncertainty, there’s no way to know.

As for Brady, the veteran quarterback is starting fresh with the Buccaneers after spending his entire NFL career with the New England Patriots. Brady wants things to go smoothly as much as anyone else in the league as he is on a ticking clock in terms of how much longer he can play this game as he’ll start the upcoming season at the age of 43.
Although Tom Brady believes he still has something left in the tank, many believe he’s best years are behind him and that will be put to the test if the season goes on as planned. Amid whispers that he isn’t quite as committed as other Bucs players, we will see how he performs.
