DeAndre Hopkins recruits Jimmy Graham to Texans on Instagram
The Seattle Seahawks and veteran tight end Jimmy Graham appear to be headed toward a mutual parting of the ways. Graham isn’t expected to return to Seattle and therefore he’ll likely be a hot commodity in NFL free agency. The Houston Texans could be a destination for the one-time All-Pro.
Apparently, two-time Pro Bowler DeAndre Hopkins is already openly recruiting Graham to the Texans. The 25-year-old wideout took to Instagram with a picture of Graham in a Texans uniform.

The Texans are a team on the rise in the NFL. After years of relying on their defense led by J.J. Watt, the team finally has a franchise-caliber quarterback under center with Deshaun Watson. Although Watson went down with a torn ACL in his rookie season, the team is confident in his ability to be a force to be reckoned with for many years to come and the addition of Graham would certainly be a step in the right direction.
Graham’s stint with the Seahawks wasn’t exactly memorable in terms of production on the football field. The 31-year-old tight end was widely considered the best in the NFL at his position before being traded to Seattle as he was arguably Drew Brees’ favorite target with the New Orleans Saints.
A change of scenery might be exactly what Graham to return to form as one of the best tight ends in the game. Houston will be an intriguing option for Graham as all the team needs to do is upgrade on the offensive side of the football in order to be a legitimate threat in the AFC next season and for the foreseeable future.
With the addition of Graham, the Texans’ odds of being playoff bound and a potential Super Bowl title contender will almost certainly improve.
