NFL Week 11 schedule: 5 teams that need to win the most
As the playoff pictures begin to form, we look at the NFL Week 11 schedule and conclude which five teams need to win most.
5. Minnesota Vikings
The time has come for the Vikings to make their move. After keeping hope alive by beating the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend at SoFi Stadium, Minnesota now comes home to take on the Green Bay Packers. With a win, Minnesota knocks off one of the toughest opponents on its slate and gets to 5-5 before going into the stretch drive. If the Vikings are serious about making a playoff push, it starts here.
4. Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia has quietly kept itself alive I the race at 4-6, sitting only one game behind the Carolina Panthers for the No. 7 and final seed in the NFC playoff picture. This week, the Eagles welcome in the New Orleans Saints, Aho are reeling a bit after losing quarterback Jameis Winston for the season to a knee injury. With a win, the Eagles would climb to within a half-game of the Saints while potentially pulling ahead of Carolina, who they already beat this year.
3. Cincinnati Bengals
We’re going to see both participants of this game on the list. The Bengals are coming off their bye week — and a well-timed one at that, having lost the previous two games to the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns. If the Bengals are going to make the playoffs for the first time under head coach Zac Taylor, beating the Las Vegas Raiders in their building feels of paramount importance.
2. Seattle Seahawks
At 3-6, the Seahawks are on proverbial life support. They were shut out last weekend in Russell Wilson’s return from a finger injury, falling 17-0 at Lambeau Field to the Green Bay Packers. This week, a return home to take on the division-rival Arizona Cardinals, who are hoping to get quarterback Kyler Murray back for the first time in three weeks. With a loss to the Cardinals, it’s tough to make a case for Seattle rebounding to reach the postseason.
1. Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders have had one of the more turbulent seasons of all time, and now they’re fighting to stay alive. After starting 5-2, losses to the New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs have Las Vegas on the edge of the AFC playoff picture. A win over Cincinnati, and things feel steady again. A loss, and we could be looking at a third consecutive collapse for the Raiders.
