NFL Week 12 schedule: 5 best games to watch

The NFL Week 12 schedule has a litany of terrific games, and these five are the best this weekend has to offer.

5. Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens (-3.5)

The first of two major battles in the AFC North this weekend. With the Ravens at 7-3 and the Browns at 6-5, Baltimore has a chance to widen the gap with a victory. However, should Cleveland go on the road and beat Baltimore, the race suddenly becomes much tighter with the two teams set to have a rematch come Week 14. Lat year, it was the Ravens sweeping the season series, but the Browns have better personnel albeit with an injured Baker Mayfield. Can they pull it off?

4. Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers (-3)

Whoever wins this game between the 5-5 Vikings and 49ers is going to have a huge tiebreaker as we head down the stretch. Minnesota and San Francisco are both riding two-game winning streaks, with the Vikings taking down the Green Bay Packers last weekend while the Niners handled the hapless Jacksonville Jaguars. This isn’t quite an elimination game, but it’s close.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals (-4.5)

Now for the other AFC North tilt. Both Pittsburgh (5-4-1) and Cincinnati (6-4) are in the thick of the playoff race, with the Bengals coming off a resounding win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Meanwhile, despite being without Minkah Fitzpatrick, T.J. Watt and Joe Haden, Pittsburgh almost beat the Los Angeles Chargers. With those stars expected back, the Bengals have a tough task. Winner is, at worst, in prime position for a wild card berth.

2. Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots (-7)

The Titans were rolling along with one of the more impressive six-game winning streaks in recent memory. Then, on Sunday, they lost 22-13 to the previously one-win Houston Texans. Now Tennessee heads north to deal with the Patriots, who have won five straight and currently hold a half-game lead in the AFC East over the Buffalo Bills. If the Titans win, they strengthen their grip on the No. 1 seed. If the Patriots win and the Ravens lose, they hop into the top spot.

1. Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers (-1)

This has to be the choice. Green Bay is beaten up but might be the league’s best team at 8-3. Meanwhile, the Rams have lost two straight, dropping to 7-3, but are off a bye and have a chance to make a huge move by beating Aaron Rodgers and Co. at Lambeau Field. This NFC clash has huge implications.
