NFL Week 13 2022: A case for each underdog

It’s time to break down the NFL Week 13 odds, and we look at how each underdog can cover their respective spreads.

Buffalo Bills (-4) at New England Patriots

The Patriots can run the ball and pressure the quarterback, two things the Bills have struggled against in recent weeks.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Atlanta Falcons (-1)

Pittsburgh is getting better outings from rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett, and if he doesn’t turn the ball over, the Steelers are the superior team.

Green Bay Packers (-4) at Chicago Bears

The Packers are finished for the year, and if Justin Fields plays for Chicago, he’s the better quarterback at the moment.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions (-1)

Trevor Lawrence has played really well the last month, and the Lions have the worst defense in football. Tough combination for Detroit.

New York Jets at Minnesota Vikings (-3)

Why not believe in the Jets, who have the better defense and some serious mojo with Mike White under center?

Washington Commanders (-2.5) at New York Giants

The Giants haven’t played well in each of their last two games, but this is Last Chance Saloon and Big Blue knows it.

Tennessee Titans at Philadelphia Eagles (-5)

The Titans have the front to cause problems for Philadelphia’s vaunted ground game. Tennessee could muddle the Eagles’ offense.

Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens (-8.5)

The power of prayer.

Cleveland Browns (-7) at Houston Texans

If there’s any game the Texans will desperately want to play their best in, it’s the one with Deshaun Watson coming back to Houston.

Seattle Seahawks (-7.5) at Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have little hope of winning, but the defense hasn’t quit, and perhaps can keep the game within a touchdown.

Miami Dolphins at San Francisco 49ers (-4)

The Dolphins have one of the league’s most-explosive offenses, led by receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Can Jimmy Garoppolo keep up?

Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) at Cincinnati Bengals

Last year, the Bengals beat the Chiefs twice. There’s plenty of reason to believe Cincinnati can turn the hat trick against Patrick Mahomes and Co.

Los Angeles Chargers (-1.5) at Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders might legitimately rush for 300 yards in this game. Las Vegas has a real shot to pull the minor upset.

Indianapolis Colts at Dallas Cowboys (-11)

The Colts have been able to hang in games, the problem has been actually winning. This is a huge spread.

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3.5)

The Saints have owned the Bucs since Tom Brady arrived.
