NFL Week 7 odds: Making the case for each underdog

NFL Week 7 features big matchups for the Ravens and the Redskins. We take a look at the underdogs bets in NFL Week 7.

Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) at Denver Broncos

The Broncos are winners of two straight and are playing exceptional defense. The Chiefs can’t stop a proverbial nosebleed, have lost two straight, and have to go on the road in a short week with a litany of injuries.

Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants (-3)

The Cardinals might simply be the better team. If they can handle going on the road — and they’ve already done that once — Kyler Murray and Co. might get to .500.

Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts (-1)

The Texans are riding high after beating the Chiefs at Arrowhead. If Deshaun Watson keeps playing like an MVP, there’s no telling how far Houston can go.

Jacksonville Jaguars (-3) at Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals are at home and getting a 2-4 team. This is a prime spot for their first win of the season.

Los Angeles Rams (-3) at Atlanta Falcons

The Rams are a complete mess at the moments, losers of three straight. At home, maybe the Falcons ensure head coach Dan Quinn keeps his job.

Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills (-16.5)

The Dolphins aren’t winning this game outright, but covering is in play. The Bills are fantastic defensively, but Josh Allen is always game to throw a bunch of interceptions.

Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions (EVEN)

We’re treating Minnesota as the underdog here. After a short week,  the Lions might have a tough time getting ready for the suddenly solid offense of the Vikings.

Oakland Raiders at Green Bay Packers (-7)

The Raiders have had two weeks to prepare coming off the bye, while the Packers are banged up on a short week. Tough spot for the Pack.

San Francisco 49ers (-10) at Washington Redskins

The Redskins are home and the 49ers have to come across the country. That’s the only case to be made.

Los Angeles Chargers at Tennessee Titans (-2)

The Chargers are the better team and trying to save their season. If Los Angele doesn’t win this game, you have to start wondering if it sells off some parts.

Baltimore Ravens at Seattle Seahawks (-3.5)

The Ravens have the most electrifying player in the game with Lamar Jackson. It won’t be easy in Seattle, but Jackson and a terrific coaching staff gives Baltimore a chance.

New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears (-3)

The Saints are the best team in the NFC, and the Bears are having trouble scoring points.

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (-3)

The Cowboys just lost to the Jets, and the Eagles are slowly getting healthier. Philadelphia is more than capable of winning this game.

New England Patriots (-9.5) at New York Jets

New York has a healthy Sam Darnold, and this is its Super Bowl.
