Packers superstar Aaron Rodgers won’t require offseason knee surgery
The 2018Â NFL campaign ended in disappointment for the Green Bay Packers. The team missed the playoffs for the second straight year. As well as that, they saw superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers battle through a knee injury all year long.
Fortunately, the Packers can breathe a sigh relief to start the offseason with the news that Rodgers won’t require surgery on the knee that he limped around on for most of the season, according to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky

Aaron Rodgers should be able to fully participate in the Green Bay Packers’ offseason program, which will start even earlier than usual this year, because he was able to avoid surgery on his left knee.
This is obviously promising news for Green Bay. Surgery may have impacted his return to the gridiron later this year. Rodgers talked about the fact he was able to avoid the surgery and how his body currently feels heading into the offseason.

“I feel great,” Rodgers said on NFL Network. “My body feels really good. Instead of getting surgery postseason, decided to kind of go through a different routine with my knee than I’ve done in the past, and I’m feeling really, really good. Got a concussion the last game, that’s cleared up. I’m feeling really good. I’m getting back into my workout routine, but the first month of the offseason is a lot about yoga and traveling.”
Along with Rodgers being able to avoid going under the knife once again, the Packers are entering a new era. New coach Matt LaFleur is taking over for Mike McCarthy. There’s no telling where this team is headed, but a fresh start and a healthy quarterback might be exactly what was needed in Green Bay.
