Patriots wideout Josh Gordon has been removed from NFI list
Earlier this month, the NFL reinstated New England Patriots former Pro Bowl wide receiver Josh Gordon.
This now put Gordon on the fast track to be on the field for the start of the 2019 season. It will be his first full season with the Patriots. He has now moved yet another step forward toward getting back on the field as he was removed from the injury list, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.

New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon has been removed from the non-football injury list, paving the way for him to be part of the team’s game plan for the Sept. 8 opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Gordon is also eligible to take the field for the preseason finale against the New York Giants on Thursday night. The next step in the process will be for him to get back into football shape. He must work quickly as the start of the season is just around the corner, less than two weeks away.
Gordon had been indefinitely suspended by the NFL after a personal slip up at the tail end of last season back in December. Since then, he had continued to take steps forward into proving he was ready to get back into the mix. As a result, the NFL has given him a conditional reinstatement last week.

His return adds another much-needed piece to the passing game putting him alongside wide receivers Julian Edelman and offseason addition Demaryius Thomas, who was recently activated from the non-football injury list last Tuesday. The team also has rookie first-round wideout N’Keal Harry in the mix along with veteran Phillip Dorsett
