Russell Wilson says ‘humbled’ Antonio Brown ready for another chance
The Seattle Seahawks are making a strong case as potentially the best team in the NFC. Russell Wilson and company are sporting a perfect record. After five games, they appear willing to take a risk on troubled wide receiver Antonio Brown.
The Seahawks are reporting interested in signing Brown once he’s available to sign with a new team after Week 8. Wilson recently expressed why he believes Seattle will be a good fit for Brown who left a bad impression on the last three teams he’s played for in the NFL, via ESPN.

“I think Antonio definitely has taken those steps [in the right direction], and like I said, nobody’s perfect,” Wilson said Thursday. “From the conversations I’ve had with him, he’s really been remorseful and he’s been humbled along the way. Like I said, I pray that he can continue to grow, just like anybody.”
Seattle has the best record in the NFC division right now. As well as that, it is one of only three undefeated teams that includes the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers. Wilson is also making a strong case for NFL MVP with solid performances on a weekly basis.

As for Antonio Brown, he’s sitting around waiting for his suspension to be lifted in order to attempt to resurrect his NFL career that has gone sideways ever since he was released by the New England Patriots after one game last season.
Although Brown comes with his fair share of baggage, there’s no question that when healthy and happy he’s one of the best wide receivers in the game. He’d be a valuable asset for Seattle if he would be able to stay out of trouble and focused.
