No timetable for Colts QB Andrew Luck to begin throwing again
There’s simply no question, the Indianapolis Colts are dead in the water without quarterback Andrew Luck. That’s what makes the news about his progress returning from offseason shoulder surgery so disconcerting.
Andrew Luck update. No throwing yet. No timetable on when that might be. Pagano: Just following the protocol. Listening to trainers.

That’s right. At the moment there is no timetable for Luck to begin throwing again.
Luck had shoulder surgery to his right throwing arm back in January.
Initially, the estimated timetable for a return was six months. Six months in and things still seem to be very much up in the air as to when Luck will be able to throw.
Luck has been hampered with various injuries since the 2015 season. He started 22 games between 2015-16.
Both years, the Colts missed the playoffs. It has been quite the change of pace for a Colts team that made the postseason three years in a row from Luck’s rookie campaign in 2012 through 2014.
Fortunately, Luck is one of the tougher quarterbacks in the league.
All the Colts can do is continue to monitor his condition and hope he is ready to resume practicing by the start of training camp in July.
