Stanley Cup Game 5 Odds
With the back and fourth of this series, the Stanley Cup Game 5 odds have narrowed and the Penguins are now only slight favorites.
When the series opened, the Penguins were big favorites to win it all. After a dominant Gamd 1 and 2 performance from Pittsburgh those odds seemed solid. Then Nashville dominated Games 3 and 4.
The line for Game 2 had Nashville as the underdogs with a +120 moneyline. To bet on Pittsburgh it was a -140 moneyline. Those were fairly close odds. Now Pittsburgh is whopping -500 favorites in Game 3, with Nashville listed at +350.
Game 1 had its ups and down for both teams. The Penguins sprung out to a huge lead thanks to a three minute streak late in the first. However, after that the game got stale for Pittsburgh who didn’t take a shot for nearly 40 minutes and blow a 3-0 lead and nearly the game. After it was all said and done the big down for the Predators is that they lost.
Game 2 looked almost identical to Game 1 except the Penguins never really blew their lead on their way to a 4-1 rout of the Preds.
Game 3 and 4 looked very similar to Games 1 and 2 except with a switch of teams with the Predators dominating.
Where this series will go next is anyone’s guess. The moneyline to bet on the Penguins is set at -155. The Preds moneyline is at +135. The game is Thursday at 8 p.m. ET. You can bet here.
