The Sharp Report – June 19, 2014
Well, well, well. Mr. Kershaw completed the no-hitter last night! A Hanley Ramierez error away from a perfect game! Congratulations, Clayton, there is no better person in baseball and this was well deserved. Some of the  Rockies’ hitters said they knew something special was going to happen last night from the first inning, the way Clayton was painting the strike zone with ease. His command was, well, un-hittable.

6/19 Early Moves:
Here are some lines that were hit by sharp groups early enough this morning to make this report. I have not had time to research games myself, so I am not recommending that you try to find these numbers and tail the plays at this time. These are listed to show you what has happened so far this morning, always do your own research on these before following along.
Houston Astros vs Tampa Bay Rays (Under 7.5)
Key Line Move @ 1:00 am EST
Cinncinati Reds vs Pittsburgh Pirates (Over 7.5)
Key Line Move @ 1:45 am EST
6/18 Recap:
Early Moves:
Colorado Rockies vs Los Angeles Dodgers (LAD ML) – Win
Key Line Move @ 9:30 pm EST (6/17)
Pretty straight forward here, you have De La Rosa going for the Rockies who is 3-9 with an ERA close to 6 against the Dodgers. On the other side, you have Kershaw who is 5-2 with a 1.58 ERA against Colorado in LA. 75% of the public was on Kershaw as well, which is scary, but when something s obvious; it’s obvious. This game could have opened at -300 and people would have hammered it, because “it’s not risking money if you win.”.
Chicgo Cubs vs Miami Marlins (Under 7.5) – Win
Key Line Move @ 9:50pm EST (6/17)
One swift move here the night before the game, the line never attempted to adjust even with the public hammering the over at over a 56% clip. Both pitchers here are pitching phenomenally well with a combined ERA of 5 over their last nine innings. Neither offense is scary here, so I am completely behind this move.
Mnnesota Twins vs Boston Red Sox (Boston ML) – Win
Key Line Move @ 12:00 pm EST
The groups hit this hard as the line went from -156 to -180 all at once, there was a clear mismatch here that the books overlooked. The Twins’ Gibson was coming into Fenway Park for the first time sporting an away record of 2-4 with an ERA over 5. Lackey for the Red Sox pitches well at home and holds an ERA under 3.5 against the Twins. The public and sharps were both behind this move 100%.
Kansas City Royals vs Detroit Tigers (Under 9) – Win
Key Line Move @ 12:05 pm EST
The Royal’s Guthrie came into this game with a 4.08 ERA against the Tigers, while Smyly came in with a 2.08 ERA against the Royals. From the looks of things this should be a low scoring first five, and with refreshed bullpens, should stay a run or two under the posted total of 9. 74% of the public is on the over here, which makes the under that much stronger in my opinion.
