Vegas Sports

The Vegas Sports Masters is a site of some very high profile handicappers. They include Tony Salinas, a legendary high roller, the dean of sports handicappers, Kelso Sturgeon, Wayne Root, the only sports handicapper on the “Vegas Walk of Fame”, and Ron Meyer, former Head Coach of the New England Patriots and SMU Mustangs.

We admit that we are a bit skeptical at first glance. Sports’ gambling has often had a bad reputation in the sports world with incidents such as the 1919 World Series, the 1955 Kentucky basketball scandal and numerous accusations of fixed boxing matches and horse races. Is it really a good thing to have a handicapper on your site who was the only football coach in NCAA history to preside over a scandal so large it ultimately resulted in the school receiving the “Death Penalty”?

It would seem that of all industries, the sports betting industry would want to distance itself from any shady characters. When Ron Meyer’s name is mentioned, the SMU death penalty is the first thing that pops into the minds of people.

But another way to look at this is, as long as you can profit from their picks, does it really matter? These guys are the type of heavy hitters and well-connected guys who would know any inside scoop. They know which players are hiding an injury, or maybe are upset about their contract, or don’t get along with their coach, or what have you.

That kind of inside information would influence a handicapper’s picks, and its info the casual sports bettor is not privy to. That’s why these guys have earned their reputation as heavy hitters in the business.

Even Ron Meyer still has a lot of friends inside the NFL and college football. He interviews many of them on TV and radio. If he’s telling you who to pick, it’s something worth paying attention to.

Vegas Sports Masters has some very affordable packages to try them out on as well. You can Sturgeon’s baseball picks for the day for $10.00 or you can get Kelso’s picks for as little as $25.00. For a site with this many big-time handicappers, that is a pretty good deal.

The site is also a very informative site with a blog section full of free articles that you can use to help you win.

All in all, this is a very good sports handicapper site, especially if you can put the “death penalty” out of your mind.
