Sunday’s Best College Football Bets
There are a lot of college football bets that could be made today, but the one that smart money is watching will be the game between UCLA and Texas A&M.
This is a rematch of last year’s season opener as the NCAA continues to set up rivalries between non-conference schools from season to season. Last year, Texas A&M blew a 24-9 lead in the final four minutes but held out to win 31-24 and cover as 5-point home favorites.
This year UCLA have QB Josh Rosen back, returning from an injury that put him on the shelf all last season. UCLA believe that Rosen returning to the field will mean good things, not just for this game, but for the whole season. This game, though, will be the teams first test.
UCLA is -3.5 favorites in the contest. The game’s total is set at 56.5. Better like UCLA on the spread. UCLA has the better offensive weapons and are 6-1 ATS when playing against SEC opponents. The Aggies are on a 5-16 ATS streak entering the season.
However, the majority of the public are backing Texas A&M as the away-‘dogs in this one. This means that UCLA are a solid price as favorites at home in this one.
