With Gronkowski back in the fold, the Patriots brass can breathe a sigh of a relief. The rebuilding process hasn’t officially begun in New England. Gronkowski still gives Tom Brady an elite target downfield. That might be enough to keep them in the title contender discussion. Although, the team will be hoping that everything else falls into place like it did last season.
AFC Futures
As a result, the attention turns to Brady and if he’s really having any doubts about continuing his NFL career. Brady has been rumored to be on the fence in the same way that Gronkowski was, but he hasn’t cleared the air outside of reports from others.
It’ll be interesting to see how things go from here on out for the Patriots and whether they can truly remain a dominant force in the AFC. Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, things are changing in New England.
