This has seen them continue to revamp the roster, which includes bringing back veteran wide receiver DeSean Jackson this offseason. However, Jackson is expected to be sidelined for the next few weeks after suffering a fractured finger during a workout on Tuesday, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
It is a bit of setback that may cause Jackson to miss some time. However, he should be back on the field at some point early in the season. It also helps that it occurred prior to the start of the season. This lessens the blow of missed time that he will have due to the injury.
Jackson is expected to figure prominently in the passing game this season. The Eagles will rely on him to provide a big-play element to the mix. The pairing with Pro Bowl quarterback Carson Wentz could be a highly beneficial asset for the Eagles’ offense to make them an even more dangerous team.

In his absence, this should see the Eagles lean more heavily upon Pro Bowl tight end Zach Ertz and veteran wideout Alshon Jeffrey to carry the workload in the passing game. Philadelphia has more than capable options that should help them be able to navigate through the early portions of the season.
Ultimately, all this does is likely just delay his official debut back with the Eagles for a couple more weeks.
