These 5 games are the best NFL games this weekend

5. Oakland Raiders at Green Bay Packers

Who would have believed this game being on a list such as this before the season? The Packers were expected to be good, but the Raiders? Not so much. Yet here we are, with Green Bay sitting at 5-1 and Oakland coming off its bye week at 3-2. If the Raiders can find a way to win this one up in Lambeau, they would be squarely in the AFC playoff race and could even have the AFC West lead depending on what the Kansas City Chiefs do on Thursday night.

4. Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions

This is going a bit unnoticed nationally, but the Lions and Vikings are both in the heat of a divisional race, and a race for the postseason. Minnesota has finally gotten good efforts out of quarterback Kirk Cousins, while the Lions are enjoying a fine start despite a middling 2-2-1 record. Should Detroit win this one at home, the Lions would suddenly be 3-2-1 with a key win within the division.

3. Baltimore Ravens at Seattle Seahawks

Baltimore is 4-2 but has plenty to prove. The Ravens are yet to be a decent opponent, losing to the only above-.500 team it has played all year in the Chiefs. If the Ravens can go on the road to the Pacific Northwest and come away victorious, it might be time to rethink what most believe about Baltimore. Meanwhile, the Seahawks are a half-game back of the undefeated San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West. With the Niners taking on the Washington Redskins this weekend, Seattle is merely trying to keep pace (and touch) with San Francisco.

2. Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts

Great AFC South matchup. The Colts and Texans are both coming off impressive showings at Arrowhead Stadium, and now fight for the top spot in the division. A win here for other side would set up for a nice stretch run over the second half of the season. Indianapolis might have the advantage coming off the bye week and playing at home.

1. Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

No question. This bad boy gets primetime billing on Sunday night. Also two fan bases that know a little something about passion. The winner is going to be feeling better than any 4-3 rightfully should. The losing city will be lighting up the phones on Monday morning, screaming for players to be traded and coaches to be fired. Good times!
