NFL Week 4 storylines: 5 things to watch this Sunday
Aside from COVID-19, the NFL has a litany of storylines to dive into for Week 4. Here are five worth monitoring the most.
5. How do the Ravens look after being humbled on Monday night?
Baltimore is still one of the top teams in the league, but it took a beating against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night. Now, the Ravens head up I-95 to take on Washington at FedEx Field. The Football Team has been anemic offensively and while its 1-2, it wouldn’t be surprising if Washington ends up with a top-five pick come the 2021 Draft. It would be shocking if Baltimore doesn’t win, but does it handle business in an emphatic way, or is this a sleepwalk?

4. What are the Cardinals going to be in 2020?
The Arizona Cardinals started 2-0 with wins over the San Francisco 49ers and Washington. Then, in Week 3, things fell apart with a surprising home loss to the previously winless Detroit Lions. Now, the Cardinals go across the country to take on the Carolina Panthers, who broke a 10-game losing streak by beating the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend. Can Arizona get right and handle business against a lesser opponent, or do the Cardinals drop to 2-2 with another lackluster effort?
3. Of the Vikings or Texans, which are totally finished?
It’s the battle of two 0-3 teams who coming into the season, had hopes of getting into the playoffs and making some noise. Instead, Minnesota and Houston have been awful. The Texans have a minor excuse having lost to the Chiefs, Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers, but the ledger matters not in the standings. Whoever loses this game is all but officially cooke, while the winner starts building in October towards a potential postseason berth.

2. Can the Browns land a signature win in Dallas?
This is a huge opportunity for Cleveland. The Browns are 2-1 after handling the Cincinnati Bengals and Washington. Now, they go on the road to take on the Cowboys, who are 1-2 and desperate for a victory. If Baker Mayfield and Co. can go into JerryWorld and emerge with a win, it would signal Cleveland as a playoff contender in the AFC.
1. Is this the last stand for the Eagles?
Pretty obvious here. This is it for Philadelphia. If the Eagles go on Sunday night and lose to the injury-riddled San Francisco 49ers, it’s tough to see Doug Pederson and Co. coming back from the brink.
