NFL Week 12 schedule: What to watch this weekend
The NFL Week 12 schedule has a few key divisional matchups, one great interconference game between two all-time quarterbacks and much more.
With the Pittsburgh Steelers having to wait until Tuesday to host the Baltimore Ravens due to COVID concerns, we lose one of the marquee games of the weekend. However, there is still plenty to look forward to.
For starters, the AFC South could essentially be decided on Sunday with the Indianapolis Colts playing host to the Tennessee Titans. Indianapolis has earned respect the last two weeks, beating the Titans in Nashville before coming home and taking care of the Green Bay Packers in overtime. If the Colts can win once more, they’d own both a one-game lead and the tiebreaker over Tennessee with a soft schedule ahead.

Speaking of the Packers, they’ll be hosting Mitchell Trubisky and the Chicago Bears on Sunday night. Chicago is only one game out of the NFC playoff picture, but the Bears have been sputtering as of late, not having won any of their last four games. If they plan to get into the race, this becomes a must-win. Meanwhile, Green Bay is attempting to at least stay within one game of the NewOrleans Saints for home-field advantage, all while expanding its lead in the NFC North.
One of the three teams to beat the Packers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, find themselves in the standalone afternoon window against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tom Brady and Co. have lost two of their last three and enter this affair at 7-4. A loss would all but seal the Buccaneers’ fate as a wild card team in the NFC playoffs. However, a win and suddenly Tampa Bay is feeling better about its chances to become the first team in league history to play in its home stadium for a Super Bowl.
As for the Chiefs, they essentially clinched the AFC West title for a fifth consecutive year when they beat the Las Vegas Raiders last weekend. Now, Patrick Mahomes and his charges have an opportunity to improve to 10-1 as road favorites. The main race to watch in the AFC is whether the one-loss Chiefs can catch the unbeaten Steelers. A win here, and Kansas City’s odds improve.
Keep an eye on those three games this weekend, as they’ll define what we learn from the Week 12 slate.
