Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb ‘it’s no secret’ we want Dak Prescott back
The Dallas Cowboys suffered a major blow this season with star quarterback Dak Prescott going down with a gruesome leg injury that ended his year prematurely. Unfortunately for Prescott, he hadn’t yet signed a long-term deal with the team.
The fact Prescott was in long contract negotiations with the Cowboys before his devastating injury led to speculation the team was ready to move on, but now that doesn’t seem to be the case, and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb makes it clear his teammates want him back in Dallas.

“It’s no secret we want Dak back,†Lamb told USA TODAY Sports on Wednesday. “I trust that the guys in the office are definitely going to make the right decision. They know how much Dak means to us and how much we lean on him.
“I cannot wait to have him back.â€
The real question moving forward for the Cowboys is whether they work on a long-term deal with Prescott or explore other options for the quarterback position considering his injury situation. Although all signs point to the team inking Prescott to a new deal, there’s no guarantee that happens.

It’ll be interesting to see how everything pans out in Dallas as owner Jerry Jones has been adamant about sticking with Prescott moving forward. If every teammate shares the same sentiment as Lamb, it’ll be hard for Dallas to move on.
However, quarterbacks are becoming available more and more. Deshaun Watson is on the market, and others could emerge, making the Dallas situation intriguing, to say the least.
