Packers superstar Aaron Rodgers wants out of Green Bay
Hours before the 2021 NFL season gets underway, Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers drops a bombshell on the league with a rumor claiming he wants out of Wisconsin.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Rodgers has let it be known that he wants doesn’t want to return to the Packers next season.

Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is so disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers that he has told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team, league and team sources told ESPN on Thursday.

There’s been speculation about Rodgers’ future with the Packers ever since the team drafted quarterback Jordan Love last year. He didn’t like the move by the team, considering they’re in win-now mode. As a result that feeling seems to have carried over to right now ahead of the draft on Thursday.
Apparently, Rodgers has been in contract talks with the Packers for quite some time during this NFL offseason. These talks haven’t gone well. However, Rodgers’ discontent with the storied NFL franchise goes deeper than just not seeing eye-to-eye on a contract extension.
Aaron told Packers he doesn’t want to return as @AdamSchefter said and I think it’s more than a contract deal, I think he’s pretty strongly convicted that he doesn’t want to go back to Packers.

With Rodgers now seemingly available, the NFL Draft could be turned on its head before it gets underway. Teams in need of a superstar quarterback of his caliber may reconsider what to do with their picks. The San Francisco 49ers have been linked to the reigning NFL MVP, with the team not sold on Jimmy Garoppolo and wanting a proven winner under center.
It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out moving forward with the Packers more than likely receiving an abundance of calls from teams trying to pull out all the stops to trade for the one-time Super Bowl champion.
