NFL power rankings, Week 11: Raiders falling off

After a hot start, the Las Vegas Raiders appear to be headed for another swoon. They’re falling in the AFC edition of our NFL power rankings.

16. Houston Texans

The Texans didn’t lose ground in the NFL power rankings this week. Sure, mostly because they had a bye, but still, it’s progress considering how the season has gone.

15. Jacksonville Jaguars

After shocking the Bills, Jacksonville got back to its typical ways and lost to Indianapolis, playing rancid offense throughout.

14. New York Jets

The Jets thought they might had have something in Mike White, and then Sunday happened. Four interceptions, and it should have been more.

13. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins have won two straight and now are trying to get a third against the Patriots. A win over New England and perhaps Miami has a late-season run?

12. Denver Broncos

Denver had a chance to get back in the AFC playoff picture, and then got blown out at home by the Philadelphia Eagles. Not ideal.

11. Cleveland Browns

It might be time to give the Browns their last rites. Cleveland is 5-5 and Baker Mayfield is hurt again. Losing 45-7 to New England is a crusher.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers tied the Lions. We should have put them behind Houston as punishment. What a horrid football game.

9. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are 5-5 and head to Buffalo for a huge matchup. Win against the Bills, and Indy is right in the mix. A loss, and the road only gets tougher.

8. Cincinnati Bengals

Coming off two losses and a bye week, the Bengals travel to Las Vegas. Cincinnati needs to find itself and handle business on the road.

7. Las Vegas Raiders

After defeats to the New York Giants and Chiefs, the Raiders are 5-4 and starting to fall apart. This is a must-win on many fronts against the Bengals.

6. Los Angeles Chargers

A home loss to the Vikings hurts. The Chargers need to regroup and take care of the Steelers, who will come with a hoard of fans to Sofi Stadium on Sunday night.

5. New England Patriots

The surprise of the AFC? Mac Jones is playing really well, the defense is excellent and the coaching, as always, is the best.

4. Baltimore Ravens

After losing to the Dolphins, the Ravens go to Chicago. Baltimore has to figure out how to beat Cover 0, because it’s going to see plenty of it.

3. Kansas City Chiefs

If the Chiefs’ 41-14 win over the Raiders is a sign of things to come, the AFC should be calling 911.

2. Buffalo Bills

After losing a stunner to the Jaguars, the Bills rebounded with an easy 45-17 win over the Jets. They have to keep winning, with New England only a half-game back in the AFC East.

1. Tennessee Titans

The best in the AFC. An amazing last six games for the Titans.
