Saints expect to get veteran WR Jarvis Landry back for Week 10
The New Orleans Saints have been marred with injury through the first nine weeks of the season.
The Saints are getting a much-needed shot in the arm with star wide receiver Jarvis Landry set to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10 action.
Landry has been dealing with an ankle injury that initially flared up in Week 3 that he chose to play through the following week. However, it forced him to sit out the next five games.

The former Pro Bowler participated in practice last week and has been limited through this week. Landry’s hometown return hasn’t gone as expected. He’s struggled to stay on the field while the Saints have fallen almost entirely out of playoff contention.
In four games, he has recorded 15 catches for 165 receiving yards and zero touchdowns. He will likely play a significant role against the Steelers as one of the top receiving options for Andy Dalton.

With Michael Thomas missing the rest of the season, Landry will have plenty of opportunities to be a significant offensive factor. In his absence, Chris Olave has emerged as the Saints’ primary passing game weapon. He’s amassed 43 receptions for 618 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The Saints have struggled to play with consistency, leading them to drop three out of their last four games. New Orleans couldn’t move the ball offensively against the Baltimore Ravens last week, mustering only 243 yards with 13 first downs, going 3-of-11 on third-down conversions, and failing to convert on both red-zone trips.
