NFL Week 13 schedule: 5 teams on upset alert
The NFL Week 13 schedule is absolutely loaded with great games, and these five teams have been put on upset alert.
5. San Francisco 49ers (-4) vs. Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins are 8-3 and one of the league’s best teams. This week, they go across the country to take on another championship-caliber foe in the Niners, who at 7-4 are leading the NFC West by one game over the Seattle Seahawks. While Miami doesn’t have the complete roster San Francisco can boast, it does have an elite passing attack that can strike from anywhere. Expect a tight, one-score game either way.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (-4.5) vs. Tennessee Titans
The Titans are somewhat built to take on the Eagles. For one, Tennessee can run the ball at will behind All-Pro Derrick Henry, and Philadelphia has been a mess against the run with defensive tackle Jordan Davis on the sideline. Secondly, the Eagles want to run the ball, and the Titans have one of the league’s better fronts to stop quality rushing attacks. We might have a quick, low-scoring game, meaning one play could turn the proverbial tide.
3. Green Bay Packers (-3.5) at Chicago Bears
Why are the Packers laying more than a field goal against anybody? Also, forget the spread, the Bears might just be the right play here on the moneyline. Justin Fields is going to be back after missing Chicago’s 31-10 loss last week to the New York Jets. Additionally, Green Bay is a veteran-laden team that has nothing to play for at 4-8. There’s a real chance the Packers essentially roll over and lose to the younger, hungrier Bears.
2. Washington Commanders (-2) at New York Giants
An NFC East clash with plenty of implications on the line. New York is 7-4 but has lost two straight and a third consecutive defeat could begin to spell doom for Big Blue’s playoff chances. Meanwhile, Washington has come alive with quarterback Taylor Heinicke, only losing once since he took over for Carson Wentz. At 7-5, the Commanders can take a … commanding grasp on a wild card spot with a victory at MetLife Stadium.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (-2) at Cincinnati Bengals
The Chiefs are laying two points on the road against the Bengals, who are 7-4 and rolling behind Joe Burrow’s right arm. Kansas City is the better team, but Cincinnati needs the game more. However, the Chiefs will want blood after last year’s AFC title game. It’s a tough game to pick, meaning Kansas City is a good choice to be upset away from Arrowhead Stadium.
