Raiders star Davante Adams reacts to DeSean Jackson’s comments
Over the last few months, chatter has remained about star wide receiver Davante Adams’s status with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Much of the discussion has focused on his happiness with the franchise’s direction and his outlook on the team’s future. Former NFL wide receiver DeSean Jackson added another notch to the outside noise, voicing that Adams wasn’t happy playing for the Raiders.

It didn’t take long for the All-Pro wideout to dispel the narrative around him.
“At the end of the day, the facts are the facts, and that is not a fact,” Adams said via ESPN.
“I’ve probably spoken to DeSean Jackson maybe three or four times in my life, and I never had a conversation with him [about this], ever. And I put that on my kids. I’ve never spoken to him about anything.”
He took a step further to clarify that only his wife knew his true feelings regarding the matter.
“And she ain’t out there leaking anything, and dropping stuff like that in the media,” he said.
“If it ain’t from the horse’s mouth, it’s probably bulls—.”

If it wasn’t clear before, it is now that Adams is committed to the Raiders. He focuses on pushing the team toward the playoffs next season after falling well short in 2023.
Adams dealt with lingering injuries throughout last season but put together another highly productive campaign with 103 receptions for 1,144 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. It marked his fourth straight season with at least 100 catches and 1,000 receiving yards.
