MLB Sunday Preview (April 28, 2013)
It is another lazy Sunday. So while you do your part of the laundry or lying around on the couch, why not catch up on some MLB and perhaps make a few bets with these great games today.
Chicago White Sox vs Tampa Bay Rays
For most people this game is about AL Cy Young Award winner David Price, who has yet pick up a win this season. Price has a 5.5 2 ERA and is 0-5 on the season for the Rays. His first one could easily come against the Chicago White Sox as the Rays feel hot after rolling over the Sox in the last game 4-10.
Price undoubtedly wants his record to match his talent and he has shown his talent this season, including a recent effort earlier this week when he held the Yankees to only three runs.
The Sox will be starting right-hander Dylan Axelrod. Axelrod has put up two consecutive quality starts. Axelrod has an impressive 3.80 ERA and will be looking to the White Sox a win in this series against the Rays.
The point spread favors the Rays who have a -140 point spread. The point spread for the Sox is at +130.
Baltimore Orioles vs Oakland Athletics
Last seasons two dark horse teams are engaged in a very interesting series. Baltimore walked away with the last win in a game where they went up 7 runs to 3.   This time the A’s however will be starting the impressive Bartolo Colon, who in his last start shut out a very talented Boston Red Sox teams over seven innings and only allowing three hits. The A’s will be looking for another start like that to give them a win in this series.
Miguel Gonzalez is no push over either. The Orioles pitcher has a 4.13 ERA and has two wins this season. In his last outing he only allowed three runs, five hits and struck out four.
The point spread favors the A’s who have a money line of -142. The Orioles have a +132 money line.
