The Two College Basketball Games To Watch Tonight
Here are a couple of college basketball games worth checking on and betting on tonight:
Creighton @ Marquette
Marquette may not be the force it was last year in basketball, but they are still a formidable opponent in the Big East with a 15-10 record overall and a winning 7-5 record in conference play.
No. 11 ranked Creighton knows how tough Marquette is to beat. Â It had its second-worst showing of the season in their first meeting with the team, shooting only 40 percent. They would still win the game 67-49. Â However, that was before the Golden Eagles hit a bit of a hot streak.
Marquette has not been explosive, but they have been playing more consistently since mid January. Â They have won five of their last seven and have been playing solid defense. Â In other words, this one may be closer than it appears when comparing win-loss records.
The odds are close on this one, considering it is college hoops. Â Creighton is only the -3 point favorites according to the spread at Bovada. The game starts at 8 p.m. ET.
UCLA @ California
UCLA has clawed its way back into the AP Top 25 thanks to three weeks of solid basketball. Â They will be looking for their fourth straight win and seventh win out of their last eight against in-state and division rivals California.
UCLA hoping to win the Pac-12 title again, but California would not only love to play spoiler but with an 8-4 Pac-12 record could take it for themselves.
California has quietly built a reputation for tearing down ranked Pac-12 teams. Â In fact, that haven’t lost to a ranked division rival in almost three years. Â That is a 5-0 record against ranked Pac-12 opponents. Â Not to mention they recently upset the No.1 ranked Arizona at the beginning of the month.Â
California is actually the -2 point favorites to beat the ranked UCLA over at Bovada. Â The game starts at 10:30 p.m ET.
