Le’Ron McClain Begs NFL for Help with Head Trauma
Le’Ron McClain has added a damning chapter to the NFL’s story of head and brain issues sustained by league alumni.Â
The retired Ravens, Chiefs and Chargers full back pleaded for help on Twitter on Saturday, saying his brain is ‘tired’.
Historically, former NFL players have suffered cognitive and memory issues as a result of repetitive blows to the head. These issues include Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Depression and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). As a degenerative disease, CTE is by far the most dangerous condition.Â
The league acknowledged the CTE dangers for the first time in 2016. Since that time, the NFL has implemented new policies aimed at reducing and better treating concussions in the game.Â

“Need to tell my story of how my head is crazy and how football did it,” McClain wrote.Â
“Please someone help me get this out the @NFL puts paperwork in out (sic) faces and thats it.”
Le’Ron McClain has yet to recieve treatment, hence his plea to the NFL for help.Â
“I have to get my head checked. Playing fullback since high school. Its takes too f*****g much to do anything. My brain is f*****g tired…. @NFL i need some help with this s**t. Dark times and its showing. F*****g help me please!!”
Le’Ron McClain played seven NFL seasons, the majority of which were with the Baltimore Ravens at 4 seasons.Â

In a possibly inflammatory remark, McClain says that he would be more of a priority had he played at quarterback.
“Watch how fast they come to aid if I was som3 QB or anything but no I was f*****g fullback that did it all,” McClain tweeted.Â
“@NFL I need help and i need the process to speed the f**k up.”
