Marquise Brown Wants Ravens To Score More Points
Wide receiver Marquise Brown says the Baltimore Ravens are going to get their offensive balance right next season.
The Baltimore Ravens’ rushing game, led by Lamar Jackson, is a double-edged sword. It makes them a unique and formidable threat. However, it limits them when it comes to the postseason.
Baltimore’s rushing offense was record setting in 2019 and ranked first in 2020. Although the Ravens’ passing game ranked last in the NFL in 2020.
It’s why No.1 drafted WR Marquise Brown has averaged 52 catches in 676 yards in his first two seasons. He has a vested interest in an upgraded Baltimore passing game.

Luckily for Marquise Brown, the Ravens selected Rashod Bateman in the draft and signed Sammy Watkins in free agency. He hopes this variation will help to diversify their threat next season.
“I let the outside be the outside when they talk,” Brown said.
“We’re the Ravens. If it’s the scheme, if it’s the players, that’s on us. We’re going to get it right. That’s why we’re out here now, to get it right.”
“We’ve been gelling good so far,” Brown added. “We’re just going to try to complement each other the best we can, go out here and win a Super Bowl.”
The Super Bowl is a tall order considering Baltimore’s 17-3 defeat to the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round.

According to Brown, scoring more points will be a good first step.
“Our expectation is to score a lot of points,” Brown said. “However we do that, with the least amount of passing attempts or with the most. We want to score as many points as we possibly can.â€
