A.J. Brown denies having a beef with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni
Over the last several weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles have hit a significant skid, pushing them out of the top NFC playoff spot.
The Eagles’ continued fall has seen the vibe around the team change, most notably with star wide receiver AJ Brown electing not to speak to the media after the last two games.
Brown’s actions led to speculation that he holds issues with head coach Nick Sirianni. The Pro Bowl wideout has finally dispelled that chatter.
“People say I’m beefing with Nick,” Brown said via ESPN. “I’m not mad at Nick, I’m not mad at nobody. We have a great relationship.
“We’re riding with Nick. We’re riding with [offensive coordinator] Brian [Johnson]. We just have to come out and play ball.”
Since the Eagles moved to a 10-1 record, the team hasn’t performed at the same level. Philadelphia has dropped four out of their last five games, with its only win over that stretch coming against the New York Giants.

Despite that, the Eagles still hold the opportunity to secure the NFC East division title and second overall NFC playoff seed with a win in Week 18 and a Dallas Cowboys’ loss.
“I want to win, and I’m doing everything in my power to win,” Brown said. “I wake up before the sun comes up, I go home hours after the sun goes down.
“This is our life. We dedicate our whole entire life to this s—. It’s serious to us, and it comes with frustration because if one man goes the wrong way a half-inch the play is over, it doesn’t work. … That’s why it’s the greatest game it is today because it takes all 11 to be on the same page.”
The Eagles will head into the playoffs with plenty of questions around the team, but hold their fate in their own hands.
