Antonio Brown makes it clear he wants to return to the NFL
It has been a whirlwind of events for star wide receiver Antonio Brown, who now finds himself out of the NFL.
In the weeks that have followed, Brown filed nine grievances and appeals to the NFL, eyeing getting much of his guaranteed money while voicing that he was done with the league. However, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN is reporting that the 31-year-old is hoping to sort through these matters so that he can get back to playing.
Despite saying last month that he wouldn’t play in the NFL anymore, wide receiver Antonio Brown wants to resolve his off-field issues so he can get back onto the field soon.
It falls in line with much of what Brown recently hinted via social media stating the Patriots should let him play since they owe him money. The All-Pro wideout has been quite vocal on Instagram and Twitter about his plans.
Brown has enrolled back at the University of Central Michigan in several online courses. He was also involved in a Twitter spat with Los Angeles Rams star safety Eric Weddle.
However, there remains a considerable hurdle before he can get back on the field as he was accused of sexual misconduct by two different women. The first woman, who was previously his trainer, has dropped her case against him.
Beyond that, there is a likely scenario in which he faces a suspension for his constant questionable actions off-the-field. Ultimately, there is still plenty for Brown to overcome first before he has the chance to resume his NFL career.
