Eagles’ Brandon Graham might return for Super Bowl
As the Philadelphia Eagles prepare for Super Bowl LIX against the back-to-back defending champion Kansas City Chiefs, additional help could come with veteran defensive end Brandon Graham getting back on the practice field.
The Eagles opened the practice window for Graham for the first time since he tore his triceps in Late November on the road against the Los Angeles Rams.
It was believed that Graham would miss the rest of the season, but the Eagles’ extended playoff run to the Super Bowl has opened the door to him potentially returning to the field.
“I’ve been working, man. We’re going to see,” Graham said after Sunday’s 55-23 NFC Championship Game win over the Washington Commanders via ESPN. “Them boys scored 55 today [the same as his jersey number]. That’s what’s up. That might be telling me something.”
Graham is in his 15th season, which was believed to be his final campaign before he suffered his triceps injury. He has spent his entire career with the Eagles, ranking first in most regular-season games played (206) and third with 76.5 sacks.

His return would give Philadelphia a much-needed boost along the defensive line against Patrick Mahomes. Graham has played a pivotal role in the past on the grandest stage, recording the biggest sack in franchise history with strip sacking Tom Brady in the final minutes of the game that secured the team its first championship.
There should be more clarity on Graham’s status in the coming days as the Super Bowl inches closer.
