Eagles won’t have Brandon Graham for the rest of the season

The Philadelphia Eagles cruised to their seventh straight win in a convincing performance on the road against the Los Angeles Rams, but that came with veteran pass rusher Brandon Graham suffering a season-ending torn left triceps.

Graham is in his 15th season, which he had stated before the 2024 campaign that it would be his last. However, he hasn’t ruled out coming back for one more go around.

“Just trying to process everything right now. I haven’t gotten that far,” Graham said via ESPN. “But you know what, I’m going to keep my spirits up, keep enjoying it … because we’ve got a special team right now and it’s time for people to step on up.

“I’m happy this is where we’re at. And if anything, if I was going to go out, I’m happy with the way I played today. And I couldn’t ask for anything else.”

Graham had a strong showing against the Rams on Sunday night, posting a sack, two tackles for loss, and three quarterback hits. However, he suffered the injury in the fourth quarter after he was hit in the elbow by running back Kyren Williams.

He initially thought it was the elbow tendinitis that he has been working through, but felt it was something worse as he was been looked at by trainers. He finished the season with 3.5 sacks, 20 total tackles, and a forced fumble.

Graham’s absence will leave a gaping hole along the defensive front while he’s also served as one of the leaders of the team.
