NFL Week 4 schedule: 5 teams that need to win the most
With a quick glance at the NFL Week 4 schedule, these five teams are desperate to win or face a very steep climb towards the playoffs.
5. Chicago Bears (1-2) vs. Detroit Lions
It’s now or never for head coach Matt Nagy in Chicago. The Bears have been a total mess over their first three games, and now they come back to Soldier Field to take on the Lions. If Detroit comes into the Windy City and beats Chicago, the fervor around Nagy is going to be full-force. At 1-2, the Bears can still salvage their season, especially in the NFC North where only the Green Bay Packers are any good.

4. Miami Dolphins (1-2) vs. Indianapolis Colts
This game is going to appear twice on the list, and it’s because both teams should be incredibly desperate for a victory. Miami won its first game by going to New England and knocking off the Patriots but since have been blown out by the Buffalo Bills and then nipped by the Las Vegas Raiders. Now the Dolphins go home to take on a winless Colts team. If Miami can’t handle Carson Wentz and Co., it might be the sign of a very long season to come.
3. Seattle Seahawks (1-2) at San Francisco 49ers
After winning Week 1, the Seahawks had a 24-9 lead against the Tennessee Titans, at home, in the third quarter. Somehow Tennessee came back and won in overtime. Last weekend, it was the Minnesota Vikings torching Seattle’s defense despite being without running back Dalvin Cook. The Seahawks can’t afford to fall to 1-3 with a divisional loss, but the chore of handling San Francisco’s attack isn’t an easy one.

2. Indianapolis Colts (0-3) at Miami Dolphins
The Colts were talked about the entire offseason as one of the wild cards of the AFC. Suddenly, Indianapolis is beat up and 0-3 after losing to the Seahawks, Rams and Titans. Now, Indy goes on the road for a second straight week to face a Dolphins team which is, as aforementioned, trying to avoid a third straight loss. This is essentially a must-win for head coach Frank Reich and Co.
1. Kansas City Chiefs (1-2) at Philadelphia Eagles
Who thought the Chiefs would ever be on this list? Fast forward, and Kansas City is 1-2 after falling apart in consecutive games to the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers. Now, the Chiefs travel to take on the Eagles, who are also losers of two straight. Of course, the Eagles are far less talented and on a short week. If Kansas City loses this one, it’s panic time.
