NFL Week 6 odds: Making a case for the favorite

NFL Week 6 kicks off with the Patriots VS the Giants on Thursday Night Football. We take a look at some favourites bets in NFL Week 6.

New York Giants at New England Patriots (-16.5)

The Patriots are at home, on a short week, against one of the least-talented teams in the league. Hard to see the Giants scoring more than 13 points in this game.

Carolina Panthers (-2) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This is an early one in London, for those who aren’t aware. As for the game itself, the Panthers haven’t lost since Kyle Allen was inserted into the lineup, and Christian McCaffrey might be the best player in football right now.

Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens (-11.5)

The Bengals are rancid, and Lamar Jackson is due for a huge day after not playing well much of the last three weeks. This is a classic get-right game for Baltimore.

Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs (-5)

The Chiefs might be getting Tyreek Hill back. Huge. Also, this is the typical game where everybody thinks Kansas City is suddenly vulnerable, and then Patrick Mahomes throws six touchdowns.

New Orleans Saints at Jacksonville Jaguars (-1)

Gardner Minshew is for real, the Jaguars have a solid pass rush and Leonard Fournette has discovered his old LSU ways.

Philadelphia Eagles at Minnesota Vikings (-3)

If Kirk Cousins can have another solid week — and he should against Philadelphia’s secondary — the Vikings should win this one at home. Close, but a win.

Seattle Seahawks at Cleveland Browns (-2)

This is a tough task. Short week and the Browns have not played well all year. Still, long trip for the Seahawks and one team will be far more desperate than the other.

Washington Redskins (-3.5) at Miami Dolphins

If the Redskins don’t win this game, they may never win one.

Atlanta Falcons (-1.5) at Arizona Cardinals

The Falcons should be able to put enough points up here. The main concern is blocking Terrell Suggs and Chandler Jones on the edges.

San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams (-4)

The Rams will be stinging after that last-second loss to the Seahawks. Plus, they have 10 days to prepare at home while the 49ers have only five. Tough turnaround.

Dallas Cowboys (-8.5) at New York Jets

The Jets are absolutely rancid and the Cowboys have to win. Enough said.

Tennessee Titans at Denver Broncos (-2.5)

This is an easy case to make. The Broncos are the better team, and they are at home. Yeah, Denver only has one win, but it could easily have three. Tennessee has looked putrid since beating Cleveland in Week 1.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Chargers (-6.5)

The Chargers have Philip Rivers. The Steelers are on their third-string quarterback. If Los Angeles can’t win by a touchdown, contract the franchise.

Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers (-4.5)

Home game for Aaron Rodgers against a nemesis he typically dispatches with ease. The Packers won’t roll, but they should win and cover.
