Grambling State

The Grambling State Tigers men's basketball team represents Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana. The school's team currently competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. They currently play their home games at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.

During their time as a member of the NAIA, they were national champions in 1961. The 2012–13 team became the eighth NCAA Division I team to finish a season winless.

The Tigers have appeared in one National Invitation Tournament (NIT). Their record is 0–1.

Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center

The Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center is a 7,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Grambling, Louisiana. It is home to the Grambling State University Tigers basketball team, along with Memorial Gymnasium. The arena also hosts concerts and events. It is named after former Tiger head basketball coach, Fred Hobdy.

The arena opened in 2007 and was first used as the location of funeral services for former Grambling State football coach, Eddie Robinson.
