McNeese State

The McNeese State Cowboys basketball team represents McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Southland Conference.

They are led by head coach Heath Schroyer and play their home games at the Health and Human Performance Education Complex. Currently members of the NCAA Division I, they were national champions of the NAIA in 1956.

The Cowboys have appeared in two NCAA Division I Tournaments. Their combined record is 0–2.

H&HP Complex

The Health and Human Performance Education Complex also known as the H&HP Complex was built in 2017–2018. It is located in Lake Charles, Louisiana on the campus of McNeese State University across the street from the Jack V. Doland Athletic Complex. The 145,000-square-foot facility includes six classrooms, 12 faculty offices, a lab, a sports training center, an arena seating around 4,200 for basketball and other events as well as a volleyball court with seating for 600.
