South Carolina State

The South Carolina State Bulldogs men's basketball team is the basketball team that represents South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

The Bulldogs have appeared in the NCAA Division I Tournament five times. Their combined record is 0–5.

SHM Memorial Center

The Smith–Hammond–Middleton Memorial Center is a 3,200-seat multi-purpose arena in Orangeburg, South Carolina, named in memory of Samuel Hammond, Delano Middleton, and Henry Smith, who died in the Orangeburg Massacre, the same night the arena opened. It is home to the South Carolina State University Bulldogs basketball teams.
