NFL Week 4: 5 games to watch on Sunday

The NFL Week 4 slate throws up some interesting match ups. We take a look at 5 of the best games to watch in NFL Week 4.

5. Dallas Cowboys (-2.5) at New Orleans Saints

Sunday Night Football has a quality contest, even with Drew Brees on the sideline. After beating the Seattle Seahawks in the Pacific Northwest last weekend, the Saints are 2-1 and all alone atop the NFC South. Dallas comes in 3-0 with a 1.5-game lead over the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East, but it has yet to be tested. The Cowboys have beaten the New York Giants, Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins, three teams with a combined 1-8 record. We’ll find out plenty about Dallas and New Orleans in this one.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5) at Detroit Lions

A battle of two undefeated teams at Ford Field. The Chiefs and Lions came into the season with vastly different expectations, and yet each is without a loss. Kansas City has been a consensus Super Bowl favorite for quite some time, led by MVP Patrick Mahomes and a dynamite group of weapons around him. The Lions will be trying to slow Mahomes, who already has 1,195 passing yards and 10 touchdowns. Detroit counters with Matthew Stafford, who is trying to win the first divisional title of his career.

3. Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears (-1.5)

The NFC North has a showcase clash on Sunday, with the Vikings visiting the Bears at Soldier Field. This game is a battle between two fantastic defenses, two solid coaches and two struggling quarterbacks. Kirk Cousins is seeing a major dip in his completion percentage since last year, going from 70.1 percent to 58.7 thus far. On the other side, Mitch Trubisky has draw the ire of fans in the Windy City. If the Bears lose, they’ll be 0-2 in the division with three road games remaining.

2. New England Patriots (-7) at Buffalo Bills

Who had the Bills at 3-0? Buffalo has done a nice job navigating an easy position of the schedule, handling the New York Jets, New York Giants and Cincinnati Bengals. Now it gets the biggest test of its young season in New England, who also comes in undefeated. The Patriots have somehow played an easier schedule, drawing three opponents who are still winless. If Buffalo wins on Sunday, it’s time to take the Bills seriously.

1. Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens (-7)

Intrigue and standings implications. This game has it all. Baltimore is coming off a tough loss at Arrowhead, but still appears to be one of the league’s best. Cleveland is 1-2 and desperately needs to go into hostile territory and take care of business against the top dog in the division.
