NFL Week 7 odds: Making a case for each underdog
Looking at the NFL Week 7 odds, we check in on each underdog and reason why they can cover their respective spreads.
Denver Broncos at Cleveland Browns (-3.5)
The Browns are without Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb, and Baker Mayfield has a torn left labrum. Denver is catching Cleveland at the right time.
Atlanta Falcons (-2.5) at Miami Dolphins
The Falcons have struggled all year, especially against teams which can throw the ball. Miami has the weapons to torch Atlanta on the outside.
Carolina Panthers (-3) at New York Giants
The Giants are getting a reeling Panthers team, led by Sam Darnold who has thrown six interceptions in three weeks.
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens (-6)
The Bengals have the personnel to attack Baltimore. The Ravens struggle on the outside, and Cincinnati has quarterback Joe Burrow and receivers Ja’Marr Chase, Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins to attack with.
Kansas City Chiefs (-5.5) at Tennessee Titans
The Chiefs have one of the league’s worst defenses and the Titans are rolling out Derrick Henry, who is a legit bet to go for 200 yards on Sunday.

New York Jets at New England Patriots (-7)
New York is coming out of the bye and rookie quarterback Zach Wilson has seen this Patriots defense. Perhaps he’s ready this time.
Washington Football Team at Green Bay Packers (-9.5)
The Packers are clearly the better team, but 9.5 points is a ton and Washington catches Green Bay when it’s very banged up.
Detroit Lions at Los Angeles Rams (-15)
Tough, tough to make a case. Perhaps Jared Goff knows enough about Sean McVay’s thought process to keep this close.
Philadelphia Eagles at Las Vegas Raiders (-3)
Philadelphia has hung tough in almost every game it has played. The Raiders are deserved favorites, but the Eagles have enough talent on offense and defense to pull the upset.

Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-12.5)
The Bucs have allowed teams to stay in games, including the Eagles last week. Chicago has a good enough defense to keep it within 12 points.
Houston Texans at Arizona Cardinals (-17.5)
Perhaps lighting a candle and praying. That might be the only way Houston wins or even covers.
Indianapolis Colts at San Francisco 49ers (-4)
The 49ers are 2-3 and have only beaten the Lions and Eagles. Now the Colts come to town at 2-4 but after having played a brutal slate.
New Orleans Saints (-5) at Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are at home in front of the 12s. Also, New Orleans has a meager passing attack. Seattle can stay close and perhaps win on a turnover or two from Jameis Winston.
