NFL Week 10 2022: A case for each underdog
The NFL Week 10 lines are here, and it’s time to look at how each underdog can cover its respective spread and perhaps win outright.
Atlanta Falcons (-3) at Carolina Panthers
Two weeks ago, the Panthers should have beaten the Falcons in Atlanta. No reason to believe Carolina can’t break back and split the series.
Seattle Seahawks at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2.5)
Why are the Seahawks getting points here? Seattle is the better team with, this year, the better quarterback.
Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills (-5.5)
Minnesota could be playing against old friend Case Keenum instead of Josh Allen. Buffalo is the better team, but without Allen, is obviously much lesser.
Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears (-3)
The Lions can score points, and the Bears are no Monsters of the Midway this season. Detroit can keep this close for another divisional win.

Denver Broncos at Tennessee Titans (-3)
Denver is coming off its bye and getting a Titans team that can’t score. Look for a low-scoring game which could be decided by a turnover or two.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Kansas City Chiefs (-9.5)
The Jaguars have an offense that can score on Kansas City. Staying within a touchdown seems completely reasonable for Jacksonville.
Cleveland Browns at Miami Dolphins (-3.5)
Cleveland can run the ball, shorten the game and perhaps win with the ground game of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. It’s about keeping Miami’s offense off the field.
Houston Texans at New York Giants (-6.5)
The Giants haven’t blown out a single team all year. Houston has kept most of its game close. Expect a tight game.

New Orleans Saints (-2.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Saints aren’t good. Just like the Steelers, they also have six losses. Also, Pittsburgh is at home and with a healthier roster.
Indianapolis Colts at Las Vegas Raiders (-6)
Have you watched the Raiders this year? If any team could make Jeff Saturday’s debut go swimmingly, it’s Las Vegas.
Dallas Cowboys (-5) at Green Bay Packers
The only argument here for Green Bay is that, at some point, the Packers have to win another football game.
Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams (-3)
Arizona and Los Angeles are two of the biggest disappointments of the season. The Cardinals can absolutely upset the Rams and their anemic offense.
Los Angeles Chargers at San Francisco 49ers (-7)
Justin Herbert is going against Jimmy Garoppolo. That’s the big hope for Los Angeles to offset San Francisco’s advantages elsewhere.
Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles (-11)
This is a divisional game, and Washington has won three of its last four. The Commanders have a good chance of, at the least, covering.
