Clippers sign center Ivica Zubac to three-year deal
The LA Clippers secured the long-term future of veteran big man Ivica Zubac with a three-year, $58.6 million extension.
The new deal puts him under contract through at least the 2027-28 campaign, keeping him in the team’s core group. Zubac is coming off averaging a career-best 11.7 points and 9.2 rebounds while shooting 64.9 percent from the floor last season.
In the playoffs, he took his production up a notch, averaging 16.2 points and 9.3 rebounds while shooting 60 percent from the floor.

Since joining the Clippers, he’s been a significant frontcourt factor, providing stability as a reliable and durable option. He’s averaged 10.0 points and 8.4 rebounds in six seasons with LA while shooting 62.8 percent from the floor.
His role has fluctuated over his tenure, but he’s remained a consistent factor.
The Clippers experienced an offseason of ups and downs, highlighted by losing All-Star forward Paul George to the Philadelphia 76ers. However, they did re-sign James Harden while adding Nicolas Batum and Derrick Jones.
