NCAAB: Big East Tuesday Preview
The big east is the most competitive division in NCAA basketball. In the Big East you have a handful of to 25 teams. Including Syracuse (3), Louisville (5) and Notre Dame (24).   Other teams on the fringe of getting into the top 25 like Marquette and Pittsburgh also pose a threat to any NCAA team and still have their eyes on being the top team in the Big East. Today (Tuesday, Jan. 22) the Big East gives us a handful of marquee games.
Pittsburgh versus Providence
Pittsburgh sits at 15-4 overall and are 3-3 in the Big East division and have a chance to move to a winning record in the division with this game against Providence. Providence has not been playing terribly. They have a winning 10-8 record but they are 2-4 in the division. Odds makers also put Providence as a major underdog by 6 points. Pittsburgh will look to continue to chip away and try to crack the top 25. A win today will get them one step closer.
The money line to bet on Pittsburgh is -225 to Providence +215.
Louisville versus Villanova
Louisville had a rough weekend. They fell out of the top three teams in the nation and now kick off the top five on the AP Poll. Louisville is a huge favorite in this game with a-12 point spread. However, if we have learned anything over the last couple weeks its that upsets can and will happen. Simply assuming that the Cardinals are going to add another W to their record in this game may be a dangerous assumption. Villanova has a rough 2-3 Big East record. However, they are 11-7 overall. This team is not a push over despite the odds.
Louisville is still looking to completely recover from their devastating loss that forced them out of the number one spot against Big East rivals Syracuse. They will be looking to get back on track with a win against Villanova.
The money line to bet on Louisville is -790. The money line for Villanova is at +610.
